At Minibugs Ovenden, we provide a safe, caring and inspiring environment where children aged 3 months to 5 years can learn, play and grow with confidence. Opened in 2020 following significant investment and refurbishment, our nursery has been thoughtfully designed to reflect our childcare values, creating a modern, welcoming and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

Amazing Outdoor Spaces for Adventure and Discovery
At Minibugs Ovenden, outdoor learning plays a significant role in our children’s everyday experiences.
Our nursery benefits from large outdoor play areas that provide endless opportunities for exploration, physical development and imaginative play. Children are encouraged to investigate, create, take on new challenges and develop confidence in a safe and exciting environment.
Our babies enjoy access to their own dedicated outdoor garden, complete with specially designed soft flooring to support safe exploration, movement and play while encouraging little ones to develop their physical skills and confidence outdoors.
We are also proud to offer an all-weather outdoor classroom, allowing children to enjoy learning opportunities throughout the year, whatever the weather. From creative activities and small group learning experiences to nature exploration and sensory play, our outdoor classroom helps children connect with the world around them.
Adding a touch of magic to our outdoor environment is our beautiful fairy and planting garden, where children can explore nature, grow plants, develop an understanding of the natural world and let their imaginations flourish.

Supporting a Smooth Transition to School
Our Pre-School Room offers a dedicated School Readiness Programme designed to help children develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for their move to school.
Through purposeful activities, routines and learning experiences, we help ensure that every child feels prepared, capable and excited about starting their next adventure.
