About me

I like walking my dogs on the beach, horse riding, spending time with my family. My favourite children's book is monkey puzzle as its teaching the children about differences and similarities between them and others

My experience

I have 15 years experience in early years and am currently studying for my SENCO qualification as this is an area I've always been passionate about.

What inspired me to work in Early Years

I've always loved being around the younger children in my family and knew it was the career for me. I'm currently doing my level 3 send course which is a subject I've always been passionate about and at my first ever nursery taught myself makaton to help a child who was non verbal communication with their family.

How I support children in the Nursery

I am helping to teach them life skills such us chopping their own food, socialising/making friends and shape them into who they grow to be

My Nursery Superpower

I love messy play and can often be found it the craft area, also enjoy leading a mini yoga session with pre-school
