All staff have full access to The National College, our dedicated people development platform. This industry‑leading resource provides up‑to‑date courses, webinars and professional development tools across safeguarding, compliance, early years practice, leadership and more.

The platform also enables us to upload internal CPD, allowing us to keep all training in one easy‑to‑navigate place and track staff progress across every nursery setting. This ensures a consistent, high‑quality learning experience for all teams. The National College

🎓 Apprenticeships & Qualifications

For those at the beginning of their career in early years, we offer structured apprenticeship routes including the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. Apprentices gain hands‑on experience supported by specialist training, monthly day‑release sessions and clear developmental guidance aligned with the EYFS framework and Minibugs’ values and ethos.

Our apprentices are immersed in real‑world learning from day one, supported by experienced staff and encouraged to build strong, confident practice that will shape their early years career.

🌿 Leadership & Management Development

We are equally committed to developing the leaders of tomorrow. Our comprehensive Leadership and Management Programme provides aspiring and established leaders with the practical tools, reflective practice and confidence they need to lead strong, motivated teams.

Delivered by our National Training and Development Manager and HR Business Partner, the programme is designed specifically around early years leadership, helping shape managers who can create nurturing, inspiring environments for children and staff alike.
