About me

I have two children of my own and a dog. I aim to provide a warm, safe, and fun environment for every child in my care.  My all time favourite children’s book is gruffalo, which I read to my two children all the time. I have a big interest in creating at home such as colouring, crafts and messy activities with my children which I transfer into my work.

My experience

I’m passionate about working with children and supporting them as they grow and learn.  I started at Minibugs in February 2018 and now have over 10 years experience. I’ve grown and thrived since the start of my career.

What inspired me to work in Early Years

I was inspired to work in childcare because I’ve always enjoyed supporting children as they learn, grow, and discover the world around them. Seeing how much of a difference patience, encouragement, and positive guidance can make in a child’s early development motivated me to pursue a role where I can help shape their confidence and future.

How I support children in my room

I support children by creating a safe, caring, and fun environment where they feel happy and confident. I encourage learning through play, creativity, and activities like colouring, while helping each child develop their independence and social skills. I make sure every child feels valued, listened to, and supported at their own pace.
